The Palace Project is an all-in-one eBook and eAudiobook platform that combines content from Libby, independent authors, and the public domain. 

  • Why use Palace? Palace prioritizes available and relevant titles to increase discovery (fewer long hold lines) and highlights community-provided and other library-driven content like indie authors and public-domain classics.
  • Are Libby and Hoopla still available? Definitely! Palace is an additional offering--not a replacement.
  • What devices are compatible with Palace Project? Palace is available for download on Apple and Android phones and tablets, and a browser-friendly version is available at the link to the right. 
  • How do I access the Palace Project? Palace Project works similarly to other digital reading apps, like Libby. 
    • Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store OR go to the web version. 
    • Add our library: Search for White Lake Community Library.
    • Add your card: Sign in to the app using your WLCL card number and PIN (usually the last four digits of your phone number).
    • Check out eBooks and audiobooks to enjoy!
