Share Your Story with Readers

Are you a local indie author? Indie Author Project gives you a chance to put your self-published eBook in front of library readers starting right here in our community. Submit your eBook for consideration by IAP, and it can become part of the local library’s collection on the Biblioboard platform, helping you connect with new readers and grow your audience.

But your reach doesn’t have to stop at your hometown. Top submissions are curated for Indie Author Project Select, a collection of standout indie-published books available through major library eBook platforms. Selected authors can also opt into a royalty-paying program, giving you the opportunity to earn based on library sales and usage while getting your work into the hands of even more readers.

Ready to see how your book stacks up? Each year, the Indie Author Project hosts a free annual contest celebrating the best indie-published eBooks in a variety of genres. Entries are evaluated by panels of volunteer librarians, with genre winners receiving $2,500 and runners-up receiving $500. Winners also have opportunities for library promotion, recognition in Library Journal, and additional exposure through the Indie Author Project network.
