Story Times

Library Story Time programs are a great way to share the love of books and reading with your child, and to help build the early literacy skills they need for success in school.

The Winter Session of story times has ended.  There will be an all-ages Play and Learn on Tuesdays during the Summer Reading Program, and the regular story time line-up will return in September.  Have a great summer!

The Baby Time and Play & Learn groups are both designed to boost important early literacy skills in a fun and interactive setting for kids and caregivers.  These programs are free, and registration is not required.

Baby Time meets Mondays at 10:30, and is aimed at infants through 2 year olds. It is a brief program full of books and bouncy rhymes, followed by some free-play time so parents and caregivers can visit with one another while the babies play under their supervision.

Play & Learn meets Tuesdays at 10:15 and 6:15, and is for infants through 5 year olds.  It will be a hybrid of a traditional story time and a preschool classroom, with lots of hands-on stations for youngsters to explore their world through play. These sessions last for one hour each, and participants will receive one new book to keep each month.  Participants are welcome to attend either the morning or the evening session.
